Visiting San Juan Puerto Rico Restaurants

2019-01-15_0012.jpg
I recently made a new YouTube video all about my favorite places in Condado, San Juan. It is a mile or so strip of beach, hotels, casinos, restaurants and a 5 minutes drive from the iconic Old San Juan. You can check out my Old San Juan blog post and YouTube video here and here. 🙂 Here is a list of my favorite places that I recommend checking out!

1. Tresbe
The outdoor experience makes it all worth it! Go grab some salmon sliders or taco for dinner at Tresbe. They also have a raw bar that served Poke bowls and sushi, but their hours are a little weird so be sure to see my YouTube video to get specific hours. There is also a coffee shop there- I know sounds kind of random. But you can basically hang out there all day and work or hang out!

2. Right across the street is a restaurant called Sabrinas with this super cool INSTAGRAM WORTHY WALL! Located on Loiza Street- be sure to check out that street. There are tons of restaurants and walls full of art!

3. Crush
This is the perfect place for breakfast or a cool drink after leaving the beach. This is where I had my first açaí bowl and got my addicted!

4. Ti Juana Mexican Restaurant
Now when I say Mexican food….don’t expect Tex-Mex or traditional Mexican food. It is a little different but honestly I have got used to it! I LOVE the queso fondido!

5. The Place

This is an awesome place to hang out, grab a drink, play some games and relax!  Their building is basically all open air, which makes for a great atmosphere.

6. Latin Star

I got the lobster tail that you can see below- it is served with Puerto Rican rice and beans and it was amazing! And these pina coladas…..wow!  This place does not have the best reviews online but I really enjoyed our experience! So I will leave it up to you all to make your decision!

7. Oceano

This restaurant has an amazing Sunday brunch and it is delicious! It was worth the $25 per person for sure. They are open for dinner and are more of a nicer restaurant. I would recommend splurging for your vacation and booking a reservation at sunset on the edge of the deck that overlooks the beach. It will be a beautiful evening with amazing food!

I hope you loved this tour of amazing restaurants to visit while you are here for vacation! You can find my full YouTube video here.  I can’t wait to see where you all will pick to go on your next trip to Puerto Rico!

XO, McKayla
