FREE things are always the best, am I right??? While living in Puerto Rico I gathered a list of things that are FREE to do and made sure to share a few of my favorites on the island as well! Be sure to check out my YouTube video showing those FREE things, but first continue reading below!
#1. Beaches
This one might be a little obvious, but beaches are free, outside of the rare parking costs! One question I get most often is “What are your favorite beaches?” While there are many that I really like these are on the top of my list!

*Combate Beach- located near Cabo Rojo on the Southwest corner of the island

*Playa Mar Chiquita- North coast

Culebra- island off of PR

#2. Old San Juan
Walk around the historic Old San Juan and enjoy the local sales carts, art, food, Calle Fortaleza, El Morro and beautiful views!

#3. Hiking/ Sightsee
*Cabo Rojo Lighthouse is a beautiful area to hike around and see beautiful cliffs. Be sure to visit Playa Sucia and the arch rock. Disclaimer- the lighthouse is not active, it is just a landmark to look at! 😉

*El Yunque
A few places to check out are Las Playas waterslides, La Coca Falls, Charco El Hippie and Yokahu Tower. Just to make a few!
