Spring Engagement Session in Stillwater Oklahoma at Sparrow Beginnings

I have previously shot a wedding at Sparrow Beginnings, so I knew when Morgan + Jaden’s said they wanted to shoot their engagement session at their wedding venue it was going to be beautiful. But I did not realize how many options the Sparrows has created for photos. They have 30 acres of land!! If you are looking for a wedding venue that offers multiple outdoor ceremony options and ample indoor space- this is your place!

Morgan and Jaden knew about each other as many small-town Oklahoma high schoolers do. Growing up their high schools were rivals. “We both went to OSU and ran into each other one day and just hit it off.”

Morgan and Jaden have a calm sense of confidence around each other and they were game for all of my ideas…including getting in a canoe. Jaden is a hunter and I think he secretly loved getting to paddle around the lake for photos. All he was missing was his fishing pole! At the end of our session Jaden (who doesn’t enjoy photos said), “That was way more fun than I expected!”. That is the biggest compliment to me!!

They will be tying the knot next March at Sparrow Beginnings!
